Championship Info

The 2008 State Championships are at the Glens Falls Civic Center in Glens Falls, New York this November 15th and 16th. All classifications will compete in a Pool-Play format for the Semi-Finals on Saturday, November 15th. Pool Play will be in two Waves this year. An opening ceremony to introduce each team will be held an hour before each Wave begins. Sections AA, C, and D will play in the Morning Wave beginning at 9:00 am. Sections A and B will play in the Afternoon Wave beginning at 3:30 pm. The top (2) teams in each class advance to the Finals on Sunday, November 16th. Class D Finals begin at 10:00 am, Class C and AA at 12:00pm, and Class A and B at 2:00 pm.

Admission and Ticket Sales

Ticket prices will be $8.00 per day. A two-day advance sale ticket for $14.00 is available if purchased by Friday, November 16. Group advance sale tickets are also available if purchased by Thursday, November 9. Team members and VIPs will be able to use their admittance badge to get in at the site at Church Street and Locker Room Entrances only. Tickets for all Glens Falls Civic Center events are available at the Glens Falls Civic Center Box Office and through Ticketmaster. Awards

Finalists and Championship plaques are awarded in all five classifications. Individual awards are presented to both Champion and Finalist teams. A Sportsmanship award is given by the officials, with input from Committee members. An All-Tournament Team will be named on Sunday.
